Summer Device Information
Columbia Families,
As we are wrapping up the end to the school year we are in need of students to finish strong. All books that have been checked out should be returned to the library before summer break. Your child was issued a new device about a month ago. Rather than check in this device the district has decided that as long as your child will continue in the Nampa School District they will take their device and charger home with them, and bring them back at the start of school August 17th charged and ready to learn. This is the advantage of students taking their devices with them over the summer, this will avoid having to have them checked back out to them. As a parent/guardian if you feel that the device would be safer to remain on campus over the summer and your child does not need summer completion school, please communicate this information to our CHS Media Specialist, Jennifer Eld jeld@nsd131.org (208-498-0571 Ext. 6521) and we would be happy to check in your child’s device.
If you do not have Voluntary Device Protection and you would like to get this for your child(ren) device you can still do that! Our Media Specialist, Jennifer Eld will need to check over their device and the cost of this Voluntary Device Protection is $25.
