Important: Annual Household Check-In
This year we will be requiring families to complete the Annual Household Check-In prior to being able to do anything else in Campus. This means you won’t be able to view teacher assignments or schedules until the Check-In is complete. The reasoning behind this is to ensure that your critical information is accurate for the best functioning of the district, especially in emergency situations. If you have questions beyond finding and filling out the check in, please submit a ticket or call 952-232-2048.
Additional information that may be helpful for you to be aware of:
Only one parent/guardian per household will need to complete the Annual Household Check-In process.
The Annual Household Check-In link is only active for one household per child. If a child has more than one household, the link will be active for the parent/guardian that lives in the household that is currently indicated as the child’s primary household.
Information regarding how to access the Annual Household Check-In can be found on the website at https://www.isd194.org/check-in.
REMINDER: If you haven't signed up for your child's assessment yet, here is the link to sign up: https://ptcfast.com/schools/Eastview_Elementary.
Fall Picture Day-Thursday, September 12
Our Fall Picture Day is on Thursday, September 12. Below is a flyer for more information about how the picture day process works, how to order (after the pictures have been taken), and delivery information.
Reporting Grades for Elementary Science
Due to the MN Academic Science Standards implementation timeline set forth by the MN Department of Education, Lakeville Area Schools will be phasing in a revised reporting format of the elementary science grades within the Continuous Progress Report. The newly revised format will include the reporting of grade level standards similar to literacy, math and specialist areas. Families will see the existing format, as well as the revised format until all grade levels have implemented the new 2019 MN Academic Science Standards. This revision of the Continuous Progress Report and implementation of the new standards will follow the MN Department of Education timeline.
Elementary Science Standards Implementation and Grade Reporting Timeline
2022-2023 School Year - Grades K & 3
2023-2024 School Year - Addition of Grades 1 & 4
2024-2025 School Year - Addition of Grades 2 & 5
2024-2025 School Year - Implementation of the MCA - IV in grades 5
This timeline coincides with the release of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA-IV) in Science in grade 5 in the spring of 2025. At the elementary level, the Science MCAs in grade five represent benchmarks from grades three, four and five. As a result, in order to properly prepare for the implementation of the MCA-IV in the spring of 2025, Lakeville Area Schools will be following the elementary science standards implementation timeline as stated above.
EVE's Mascot is Changing from Panthers to Wildcats!
We are excited to announce a change to our school mascot! Starting this year, we will be transitioning from the Panthers to the Wildcats. This new mascot represents all of our students as some will transition to Lakeville South as a Cougar and some will transition to Lakeville North as a Panther. We believe the Wildcat will inspire our students to continue striving for excellence both in and out of the classroom.
Thank you for your continued support!

iPad Information for the 24-25 School Year
Eastview Families,
Incoming 1st-5th graders: On the first day of school, all students should bring their iPad, charging cord and charging brick.
Incoming Kindergarteners: Your students will receive an iPad in their classroom within the first week of school.
This year we will be doing a gradual release of devices, which means students will not take their iPads home right away. In general, we will follow this schedule.
Kindergarten - Grade 2: iPads remain at school full-time unless for 2nd grade special projects after MEA break
Grade 3: iPads can be sent home starting the day before winter break unless for special projects after MEA break
Grades 4-5: iPads can be sent home starting the week of MEA break
This allows teachers time to teach responsible iPad use, and set expectations so that students have the knowledge and skills to safely and effectively use their iPads to enhance their learning prior to bringing them home. We will continue to reinforce rules and expectations with students throughout the school year and teach lessons on digital citizenship. Additionally, we will share tools and tips with parents/guardians throughout the year, to help you help your students be successful.
Thank you for your support.
