With a few injuries late last year, the ponies were ticked along, but now it's time to get those grass bellies under control (both riders and horses!!) and turn fat into muscle! We have the help of some great hills around us, plus we move our horses onto CopRice Veteran from Versatile, Veteran offers higher protein, included are balanced vitamins plus essential amino acids to build topline and condition for working horses. We include CopRice high joule/or rice bran if required.

Weirdly the UK Eventing season and the Aussie one starts around the same time! With a 3 month break over Winter in UK and 3 month break over Summer here!! I know which break I prefer!! There is still frost on the ground in the UK, but Gemma has been out and about doing some XC Schooling and recently a run around a combined training day. Her season started with Tweseltown (great 1st run see below) following will be Barbury Castle. Hopefully they will continue a successful path :)

Taking a short 2 week break to fulfill our eldest daughters request for her 30th Birthday 'Skiing in Austria' - Of course we went along with it! Gemma also arriving to celebrate. We returned unscathed, not that Stuart was unscathed before we left! Recovering from his broken neck plus an ongoing lower back problem. However, he did manage to join the group for Après Ski and general 'good times'

I would like to say that 2025 will not be boring for us- We are planning to move our lovely younger horses, 'Caruso' 'Catfish' 'Fernhill Aisling Star' into 2 and 3* plus establish 'Viennese' in 4* - It certainly won't be long (hopefully) until Gemma returns to help with their end of year and 2025 program. May have to make room for some new greener ones!!!!
