Happy Friday!
It is our last Friday in March and we have welcomed days of Spring-like weather this week which has been wonderful for staff and students.
April arrives on Tuesday and we are hopeful the warm weather arrives with April, not April showers :)
Please be sure to send your child with appropriate layers, as spring weather can be unpredictable. Also, sneakers are the best option for students and it might be a great time to practice shoelace tying or go with the no-tie sneakers :)
Thank you for taking time to read through this week's newsletter.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
Enjoy the weekend!

Report Cards for Trimester 2 are now available on PowerSchool
ONE LANE on DRIVEWAY
The families using the Drop & Go option in the morning need to remain in ONE LANE.
Please do not pass on the left . . . Wait for the car in front of you to pull forward.
Please pull all the way up to the walkway leading to the main entrance (Door 1) or use the sidewalk to go back to the porch with Door 2 and Door 3. This will allow about more cars to drop off at one time.
Please DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR on the driveway.
Remember that students are to EXIT the car from the PASSENGER SIDE of the car.
Please DO NOT PASS ON THE LEFT AT ANY TIME - Wait for the cars to move up and out the driveway.
Staff Parking Lot
Families are to use the Denman Parking Lot and/or Lenhome Drive for arrival/dismissal. If you are parking and walking your student to the doors, please refrain from using the Staff Parking Lot. Dismissal parking is again in the Denman Parking Lot and/or Lenhome Drive.
Please reach out if you have extenuating circumstances and need access to the Staff Parking Lot for arrival/dismissal.
Late Arrival & Early Pick-Up
Families arriving late to school and/or picking up a student early are asked to use the Staff Parking Lot for the late arrival and early pick up.
Please do not stop on the driveway and leave your car on the driveway when you are signing your student in or out for the school day.
Thank you for keeping the driveway clear of parked cars.
No Dogs On School Property
Please be reminded that dogs are not to be on school property.
Thank you for not bringing dogs to arrival, dismissal and letting your neighbors know that walking their dog on school property is not permitted.
Before & After School Supervision
Please Refrain From Digging 🚫
We ask that families supervise the children in their care before and after school.
We ask that this area not be a play area as we work to regrow the grass in this area.
We will reseed and cover the area in the coming weeks but need families to not have children digging or playing in this area.
Thank you!
After-School Playground/Field Supervision 👀
Please remember adults should be supervising the students after-school on the playground and/or field.
During the school day, we have expectations and students are supervised by adults at all times. The supervision and expectations keep students safe.
We ask that if you are allowing your student to play after-school on the playground/field that you supervise the student(s) your are responsible for in order to ensure their safety.
Please be mindful of safety:
- near the driveway and parking lot
- bleachers
- lacrosse nets (do not climb or hang on nets)
Informing After-Care of Dismissal Changes
Please be sure to inform the After-Care Programs of dismissal changes.
When the After-Care Programs are not informed, it puts the school and the after-care program in a concerning situation. The safety of the students is our priority and when the program is not informed of a change to dismissal, we we are needing to confirm that the student has been picked up and the After-Care Program is waiting for the confirmation, a call is then made to the program to inform them of the change that wasn't provided, and all students in the program are needing to wait to leave the school.
