The mission of Schaumburg Christian School is to prepare each student for a successful life through excellent academics, purpose-driven extracurriculars, and life-changing biblical instruction in a loving, Christian environment.

Moms In Prayer is a group of Christian Moms that stand in the gap for our children through prayer. We pray that our children will receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, then stand boldly in their faith. We pray for teachers and school staff to stand in and embody their faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that our schools will be directed by biblical values and high moral standards. We pray to be an encouragement and positive support to our schools through the power of prayer. Moms in Prayer will begin meeting November 13th. They will meet every Monday morning from 8:30-9:30am in the Middle School Room which is located on second floor of the Life Center. Moms can enter door 14.

Thank you to everyone who welcomed Officer Daily this past week. He has been around the building, acclimating to the schedules, and introducing himself to everyone at SCS. He's excited to be part of the SCS family.

Pastor Ken Fields spoke to our high school students in chapel about what and why do we fear the storms in our lives. "There is no fear because He protects us from and in the storms." An encouraging message about rooting and growing our Faith in Christ because He's got this!

And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. ~ Matthew 8:26

Our middle school choirs will be joining other formations throughout the Chicagoland area on Sunday, November 12th, to sing a patriotic medley before the Chicago Wolves game. If you'd like to purchase tickets and support SCS and the Chicago Wolves, you can purchase your tickets through the Wolves website. SCS is sitting in section 210. We hope to see our SCS families out celebrating our nation's veterans.
