Principle's Note
Dear Otter Families,
As we wrap up another wonderful year at Meadow View, we are thrilled to celebrate the incredible academic and social-emotional growth of all our Otters. Our students have shown remarkable leadership skills, demonstrating kindness, responsibility, and a genuine eagerness to learn. It has been inspiring to see them grow, support each other, and strive for excellence every day. Whether it's mastering new math concepts, excelling in reading, or showing empathy and teamwork on the playground, our Otters have made us proud in countless ways.
We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support, trust, and care from all our parents throughout this year. Your partnership has been invaluable in helping our students succeed. Today, we had a fantastic Otter World Day celebration! The kids had an absolute blast enjoying popsicles, a thrilling visit from the fire department, and some extra recess time. The joy and excitement on their faces were priceless! Please take a moment to look at the smiling faces and amazing pictures we've shared. A heartfelt thank you to all the teachers for their incredible dedication and love for each of our students. You have made a lasting impact on their lives, and your hard work does not go unnoticed.
We hope you all have an amazing summer filled with fun, relaxation, and memorable moments. Thank you again for being such a vital part of our community!
Warmest wishes,
Mrs. Bell

Medication Pick-up
From Nurse Robbin
Dear Caregivers:
Please pick up all your child's remaining medications by the last day of school unless they are going to need these medications during summer school. Medication can NOT be sent home with a student. Medication that is not picked up by a parent or guardian will be disposed of at the end of the school year (by Friday, June 7th at 11:10 am).
If you anticipate medication(s) will need to be administered at school next year, a new medication consent form will need to be completed. For prescription medication, your health care provider will need to either complete and sign the "Medication Administration Consent Form'' or provide a copy of their own electronic school medication form. A parent/guardian also needs to sign the form. Please bring the labeled medication container and completed forms to the school health office at the start of next school year.
All medications administered at school need to have the following information on the doctor's order (prescription) or parent/guardian order (non-prescription) as well as be provided in the original medication container.
- Student's full name
- Name and dosage of the drug
- Time to be given
- Physicians name
Thank you for your cooperation. Please call one of the district nurses or your building health assistant with questions.
Thank you,
Robbin Brennan

We Want Your Opinion!
Please consider filling out the School Community Organization (SCO) survey to better assist our organization for the remainder of the school year and for the next few years. A new question has been added regarding sharing of funds with other Sun Prairie schools, so please take a few minutes and let us know your thoughts.
Responses will be reviewed at the April meeting, so we'd love to hear your opinions!
Birthday Treat Guidelines
We wanted to provide some guidelines regarding birthday treats and appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the well-being and inclusivity of all students. Please take a moment to review the following reminders:
Accessibility and Allergies: When bringing in birthday treats, please ensure that the food labels are easily accessible to Kelsey and Madhu, our staff members at the front desk, who are responsible for allergy awareness. This allows them to check for any potential allergens that may affect students in the class.
Individually Packed Items: We kindly request that you consider providing individually packed items for birthday treats. This helps with portion control and ensures convenience for distribution. Individually packaged treats also minimize the risk of cross-contamination and promote cleanliness.
Non-Food Treats: We encourage you to explore the option of non-food treats for birthdays. Non-food items can be equally enjoyable and are a great way to celebrate while accommodating various dietary preferences and restrictions. Examples include small toys, stickers, pencils, or bookmarks.
No Class-Wide Food Items: To maintain a balanced and inclusive approach, we kindly ask that you refrain from providing class-wide food items such as pizzas or hot dishes. This helps prevent any potential disruptions to the regular meal routine and ensures that dietary restrictions are respected.
No Balloons: While we understand that balloons are often associated with celebrations, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing balloons to school. This is to maintain a safe and distraction-free environment for all students.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following these guidelines. By working together, we can create inclusive celebrations that ensure the well-being of every student. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
