Happy Friday BWE Families,

As we approach Veterans Day, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all those who serve and have served our country with courage and dedication. Thank you for your sacrifices and commitment to keeping us safe and free.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, let’s take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks for the many blessings we share, including the freedoms we enjoy every day because of our veterans' bravery.

I hope that gratefulness blooms in your heart as beautifully as the words of appreciation bloomed in mine from the student created mural above. I am grateful to have each of you as a part of our BWE family and wish everyone a season filled with gratitude and appreciation.

• Cell phones and smartwatches may be used respectfully and responsibly before school and after school.

• Cell phones and smartwatches should not be used to capture video, audio, or images at school or on the bus.

• Cell phones and smartwatches should be set on silent mode and kept in backpacks, lockers, or other designated storage areas and should not be visible during school hours including instructional time, reward time, free time, lunch, and in the hallways.

• Use of cell phones and smartwatches may be permitted in extenuating circumstances with permission from a staff member. (ex. to notify parent/ guardian of a late bus)

Students arriving after 7:55 a.m. are marked tardy. Early check-out ends @ 2:30 p.m.

All transportation changes should be emailed to birnhamwoods@conroeisd.net.

Changes must be received by 2 p.m.

Homeroom Teacher

Grade Level

Birthdays are the best days and we love to celebrate at BWE! We do not however, host birthday parties at school. Parents may send gift bags of inedible items (pencils, bubbles, party favors) for students to share with their class. Edible items may be sent, inedible items are preferred. Due to allergies and dietary restrictions, edible items MUST be store bought with a legible nutrition label.
