Principal's Message From Dr. Otway
100% of our students to increase by 1 achievement level on iReady or GMAS
Dear Families,
We are excited to share with you our goal for the year is for 100% of our student leaders improve 1 achievement level and we know achieving this goal requires a true partnership between the school, teachers, and you, as the leaders of your child’s success.
Your child's teacher has set specific lead measures to guide and support their academic progress. Together, with your involvement and the dedication of our staff, we will meet the individual needs of each student, helping them excel. Our commitment to the 4DX (Four Disciplines of Execution) process will drive this success, and with your collaboration, we are confident in our shared achievement.
As conference season is now upon us, we encourage you to connect with your child's teacher to check in on their progress and discuss how we can continue to work together for their success. Our partnership is the key to unlocking the best outcomes for your child this year!
Thank you for your continued support.

Excellence Extravaganza
This Friday was our monthly Excellence Extravaganza. Our leaders brought the excitement, talent, and house pride! Our Golden Tigerettes dazzled us with their debut performance and announcing the new captain and co- captain. Tiger leaders of the month were announced and congratulated for September with acting safely! In a show of camaraderie and enthusiasm, new scholars took part spun into their way into their respective houses. Altruismo welcomed 4 new leaders, Amistad gained 3, Isibindi added 2, and Rêveur embraced 1 new leader.
House of Presence🖤: Best Attendance went to Altruismo!
House of Roar💙: Best Behavior was awarded to Rêveur!
House of Achievement🧡: Highest Academics went to Amistad!
But don't worry—House of Isibindi 💚 is gearing up for a big courage filled comeback.
We couldn’t be more proud of the spirit, effort, and teamwork displayed by all our scholars in the month of September.
National Pre-k Week
We kicked off the week by highlighting our amazing Pre-K program, celebrating the joy of literacy. Dr. Otway, our principal, joined us as a guest reader, bringing stories to life for our Pre-K students. Parents also participated, reading to the class and making the week extra special.
The fun continued as our little learners made delicious cookies in the cafeteria, shaping them with their name initials—a sweet way to celebrate as these young scholars get started on their educational journey.

Let's Go Golden Tigerettes

Congratulations to M'siyah E., who has been named the new Head Captain, Janya R., the new Co-Captain, and Chirani M., who will serve as the new Lieutenant. We’re excited to see these leaders guide the team to even greater achievements this year! 🎉
