Dear Monomoy Middle School Families,
This week, Ms. Hayden and I had the absolute privilege to attend a very special tradition that our school participates in each year. The Harwich-Dennis Rotary has an annual award for Just A Good Kid. Just a Good Kid is defined as "students who embody the attributes of a good kid: not necessarily the one who is recognized but rather the one who enjoys school, works hard, and volunteers to help those in need. They should be respectful, courteous, responsible, and a good friend.” On Wednesday, we were able to honor one student at each grade that exemplifies these traits. Congratulations to JD F. (7th grade), Sophie W. (6th grade), and Dante G. (5th grade), as well as the families of these students for receiving this recognition. These three students display excellence in empathy, kindness, and friendship. They are just good kids!
In partnership,
Abby Dudley
Principal
