Dr. Still was recently awarded an NIH Multiple PI R01 for targeting secondary stroke-risk reduction in African American men at high risk for recurrent stroke. This body of work has amassed nearly $2.9 million in external funding. Dr. Still has extensively published in the area of health disparities, minority health, and hypertension clinical and outcome trials, having a significant impact on practice and policy. Reach Back & Lift Up: Support Opportunity
The School of Nursing is launching our very first fundraising initiative to support pinning (undergraduate) and white coat (graduate) ceremonies for graduating students. Our goal is to assist students with the fees associated with pinning and white coat ceremonies. These ceremonies are time-honored traditional in the profession and at FAMU School of Nursing. Due to financial constraints, students are opting to forego participation in these rites of passage.
