As the soccer season kicks off this week, we want to extend our heartfelt wishes for success to both our Boys and Girls Falcon Soccer teams. Whether you're on the field or cheering from the sidelines, we're excited to see the Falcon spirit in action! Games are weather permitting, so fingers crossed for clear skies and optimal playing conditions. Go out there, give it your all, and let the Falcon pride soar high! First Games are at AVMS @ 4:30 1/24/2025. GO FALCONS!

No School for Students on Wednesday, January 29th:

- Students will have a day off on Wednesday, January 29th, as our dedicated teachers and staff will be participating in TUSD's Professional Development day. Enjoy the break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday!

• A big congratulations to all our amazing Falcons who have been recognizing each day that have improved on their Math or ELA Benchmark. Keep up the amazing work, Falcons!

1/24 - First Soccer Games - Home @ 4:30 - GO FALCONS!

1/28 - Future Falcon/ HS Night 5:30-7:30

1/29 – District PD Day (No School for Students)

On Friday, January 17 we had our lead from Verizon Innovative Learning Schools visit to observe the integration of technology in instruction. The two classes that were observed were Cinnamon Conrad's Gate 7 Math and Mr. Kevin Mahaffey's Lego Engineering grade 6 class. Both teachers scored the highest possible, meaning their lessons were considered transformational. Transformational means the learning that took place involved student higher order thinking and included application beyond the classroom. Both teachers provided highly authentic and goal-directed learning experiences with technology interwoven seamlessly for their students. Our Verizon Innovative Learning Lead stated this was a rare experience for her.

📢 Important Update for Families

Going forward this year, students must bring their school ID with them every day. IDs are required as part of the sign-in process if a student arrives late. If a student does not have their ID, they will need to visit the library to request a replacement.

We are in need of chips, candy, and juice boxes.

Thank you for all the donations so far. Please continue to donate. We need lots of chips, they really like the hot ones, juice boxes, movie theater candy, mini packages of cookies and always stuffed animals.
