Paul Flick Silver Apple Award
Paul Flick started his career in teaching, coaching, and administration in Cleveland, Minnesota. In 1967, Paul and his family moved to New Prague where he became the Junior High Principal, a position he held until his retirement in 1993. Throughout his career, Paul was a role model for his fellow educators, on both a professional and personal level. He believed that serving others was the key to a fulfilling life. In honor of Paul's legacy, the New Prague Area School District has established the Paul Flick Silver Apple Award, which will be presented annually to an outstanding employee.
Any employee of District 721 can be nominated for the award based on their exceptional service. The recipient will be presented with a silver apple award and recognized during the school's "End of the Year" celebration. The recipient will be selected by an anonymous panel of staff members chosen by the NPAS School District, based on the nominations submitted by colleagues. To nominate someone, simply fill out the online form or mail in form provided below, describing in 150 words or less the qualities that make the nominee deserving of the Paul Flick Silver Apple Award.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, April 14, 2025.
