Welcome to the BHS Express
A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
Hello Bulldog Families.
We are wrapping up a busy four-day week at BHS in anticipation of a fun-filled week full of homecoming festivities beginning on Monday. We hope that our students will participate in the spirit days and enjoy our homecoming parade on Thursday. Tickets to the dance will go on sale on Monday, September 23rd. Please reference the Homecoming 2024 Information link below for all of the homecoming information.
I know it’s hard to believe, but we are only three weeks away from the end of the first quarter. As a reminder, students must be passing at least 5, full-credit courses, to be eligible for extracurriculars during the second quarter. We are required to follow all ineligibility rules for our activities, so please help us remind your students to make sure ALL of their grades are passing. Thank you.
We want to take a few minutes to address the importance of school attendance. This means attending school on time and being here all day. Ohio has deemed September School Awareness month and is communicating regularly around the importance of school attendance. Please reference this link from Attendance Works to learn about the importance of good school attendance. 10 Facts About School Attendance
We hope you have a great weekend, and we look forward to greeting your students on Monday morning.
In service to our Bulldogs.
