Every school day we choose three random students as attendance winners. If they were on time to school, they get to come to the office and spin the prize wheel. In addition, we randomly pick a weekly perfect attendance winner. This week's winner is Diego B. from the House of Dobrota. Way to go, Diego, you earned 3 points for your House!

Please call the attendance line at 916-979-8142 or email NorthridgeAbsence@sanjuan.edu when your student is absent. It's okay to also let the teacher know, but they don't always relay the information to the office. Also, if your student is out due to an appointment please remember to get a note from the doctor/dentist/court and bring it to the office once they return.

Our current attendance rate is 92.14%.

This week is the last week of school, and we only attend on Monday and Tuesday, June 9 and 10. All students in TK-6th grade will be released at 12:55 p.m. both days. There is no Bridges After School on the last day of school, so please plan accordingly for pickup at 12:55 p.m.

Extra House shirts and hoodies can be purchased through Logo-It. There is an option to have your student's name added to the sleeve of the hoodie for $5. You will need to pick orders up at the Logo-It shop at Hazel and Greenback.

For students starting kindergarten in the 2025-26 year who did not attend TK, we will have screening on August 7 from 10-11:30 a.m.

Kindergarten Orientation will be on August 12 at 4:00 p.m. starting in the cafeteria.

We had our last House Rally of the school year on Friday. Enjoy the pictures!

Under the State of California Universal Meals Program, all students can receive one breakfast and one lunch at no cost every school day. Breakfast and lunch menus can be found here.

• Free summer meals to be available at three locations this summer

  San Juan Unified is offering free summer meals at three locations this summer—no paperwork, income, or enrollment requirements needed. Meals must be eaten on-site, and service will not be available on June 20 or July 4. All children 18 years of age and younger can enjoy free meals at any of the locations listed below.

The sixth grade promotion ceremony will be on the last day of school, Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room. Families are invited and should plan to arrive early to find parking and a seat. Students are encouraged to dress up to look their best! After the ceremony, sixth grade students may be checked out of school early by their classroom teacher. All other students must be checked out from the office.
