Please Review - NJSLA Reminders
- NJSLA testing begins next week. Fifth and eighth grade students will take the Science assessment on Monday and Tuesday. All grades will complete the ELA assessment on Wednesday and Thursday. Mathematics assessments will be administered from May 14-16. Please be reminded of the following:
- Testing begins immediately at 8:30, so please ensure your child arrives to school on time.
- Students should bring their own wired headphones/earbuds (AirPods and similar are not permitted) and a mouse (optional).
- It is imperative that your child fully charges his/her Chromebook each evening. Students will not be provided with spare chargers or a place in the classroom to charge their devices and will instead be scheduled to make up their test session.
- On test days, the building will run on the delayed opening schedule after testing concludes at 10:30 a.m. Click here to view the bell schedule.
- Cell phones are not permitted on a student's person during the school day per district policy. Please be advised that should a student be found in possession of a cell phone or other electronic communication device during testing, their test may be invalidated and disciplinary action will be imposed.
