WES Parent Newsletter
August 27, 2020
Dear Families,
I wanted you to know a little about me. I have been loving students for 29 years and taught everything from PreK to 6th Grade. The last 8 years, I have been the Dean of Students at Sloan Creek Intermediate in Lovejoy ISD. I grew up in a small town and really wanted to get back to a community that celebrates successes and lends a helping hand. Whitewright felt like home from the beginning. The love and energy only an elementary campus offers was a positive point also.
My husband was the high school baseball coach at McKinney High for the past 25 years. We have two beautiful girls. Mikayla is a senior at Texas A&M graduating in May and Darby is a freshman following in her sister's footsteps. On the weekends you will find us watching sports, swimming or playing games.
If you ever need anything, below is my cell phone number and email.

First Day On Campus Procedures
The Dismissal Plan will have three small safety changes. 1. ONLY TWO lines will form in the front and around the building to the west side for parent pick up. 2. Only PRE-K and Kinder (and their siblings) will exit out the front of the building. 3. Each child will be issued a three-digit number that should be posted in your car's front window. This number will be entered and your student will then be released from the classroom to come outside to their car.
Please be patient with us the first couple of days as we safely get your kids home to you.
