La Gazette d'EMBM
💚 Mars 2025💚
Bonjour / Message from your admin. team
Welcome to the month of MARS!
Dear Parents/Guardians,
March is here! 🌱 The days are getting longer, and although winter is still hanging around, we can almost feel spring in the air. We’re in the middle of Lent, and with Easter on the horizon, there is a lot of hope and excitement building! To journey through this spiritual season we will be gathering for our weekly liturgies as a school community.
March is going to be full of activity and excitement! First up, we have our Concours d'art oratoire (French Oratory Contest)—our students are ready to impress with their speaking skills! Then, it’s time for student-led conferences, where your child gets to show off all the learning they’ve been doing, and let's not forget another Family Bingo and Bakesale!
We continue to be impressed with the turnout we get at family events and the active role you take in your child's education on a daily basis. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We are truly blessed for this community.
Here’s to a wonderful March full of learning, growth, and plenty of excitement.
Blessings,
Megan & Deanna

School Sports Report - February Recap
🏀Well, February flew by! It was a cold but busy month for our athletes. Both the boys’ and
girls’ basketball teams continue to perform exceptionally well. We're looking forward to
the big basketball tournament coming up on Wednesday, March 12 at noon. The field
house will be packed with action-packed games—let's cheer on our Bisons to victory!
🥅Intramurals for grades five and six will continue throughout the month of March,
offering more opportunities for our younger athletes to get involved and stay active.
🏀Additionally, the Basketball Free Throw Competition, hosted by the Knights of
Columbus, took place on March 1st. We will update you once we know the results. Congrats to all our participants!
🥌We’re thrilled to announce the start-up of a Grade 6 & 7 Curling Club at our school! While the club is still getting organized, there has been a lot of interest, and we’re looking forward to getting things rolling soon. Curling is a great way for students to stay active, learn teamwork, and have fun on the ice. The curling bonspiel will be held on March 28th. Stay tuned for more details on practice times and how to get involved!
👟Finally, an Edsby message will be going out this month in regards to Marafun occurring in Saskatoon on May 25th. A link will be included to register your child to the school team. The team will begin meeting in April and will run during lunch hours.
A huge thank you to all of our athletes and coaches for their ongoing dedication and
hard work. We’re excited for what’s to come in the next month! Keep it up, Bisons!
