All NHS students can purchase their school device through a 0% Lease-to-Own Program. The package includes:
- iPad Air with M1 processor
- Apple pencil 2nd gen
- Logitech Keyboard Cover with Trackpad
- 4 years of AppleCare+ Insurance (available only through school programs & devices will be serviced by NHS technology team)
Check out the NHS iPad Program Brochure for details. See the NHS Technology Webpage for more!
Lease-to-Own Advantages
When students own the device, they take greater responsibility for taking care of it and are more invested in learning to use it effectively. The iPad Air is a robust tool that students can personalize to meet their own learning needs (check some of the many ways students can customized the iPad for learning).
Parents/guardians from lease-to-own districts share that their student’s Apple devices have been used well into college. For more on iPad use at the higher education level explore these sites:

iPads will be delivered in August.
For more information about this exciting program, and to learn about how iPads are already impacting teaching and learning at NHS and at school and universities across the world, check out the Technology Page on the NHS website.
We encourage you to participate in this innovative educational program!
NHS is a bring-your-own device school. We understand that some families may have already purchased a device or may want to purchase independently. Our goal is for all students to have an iPad as their primary device.
There are options for all students:
- Participate in the iPad Lease-to-Own Program
- Bring your own device*
- Use a daily loaner device in school as needed
*Student owned devices are not supported by the NPS technology department. All necessary software and apps will be provided. We recommend students purchase the iPad Air with a keyboard and Apple pencil or other stylus. If another device is being used, it should meet the following requirements:
- Able to run the most recent version of Google Chrome
- Wireless network capable (5ghz wireless AC or newer)
- 10” or greater screen size
- Full size keyboard
