MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
I hope you have a Happy New Year! We had a great end to 2017 and I know we have an exciting year ahead of us. The biggest gift to us this new year is the re-opening of our gym. A thank-you to everyone who worked on the gym’s repairs, and to Mr. Curry and Mrs. Laws for still providing PE and Intramurals for students without a gym. The gym is now ready for Girls basketball and Wrestling season!
As you start the new year it is time for new year’s resolutions. This year, make a resolution to be more involved in your student’s school. We welcome volunteers and have a variety of ways to volunteer. We are always looking for tutors for our AVID program or math tutors for before school. We also have several students that need extra assistance with their studies; a volunteer can have a huge impact. If you are interested, contact our front office for more information.
in January, look for our team sports schedules, upcoming events and activities on our website and on our Hanby Husky facebook page. Go Huskies!

A MESSAGE FROM LA CLINICA HEALTH CENTER:
1. Wash your hand when they are dirty and before eating;
2. Do not cough into hands;
3. Do not sneeze into hands;
4. Above all, do not put your fingers in your eyes, nose or mouth!
Germs are everywhere! They can get onto your hands and items you touch throughout the day. Washing hands at key times with soap and water is one of the most important steps you can take to get rid of germs and avoid spreading germs to those around you. Germs can get into the body through our eyes, nose, and mouth and make us sick. Handwashing with soap or using hand sanitizer removes germs from hands and helps prevent sickness.
