I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable February break!! We are so ready to have the students back in the building and be back to learning and fun!

Progress Reports went live on PowerSchool on the 14th. If your student is failing or at risk of failing any subject, their teacher should have reached out to you with information of how they can get those grades up before the quarter ends in late March. Please do not hesitate to contact the teachers with any questions that you might have about how your student is doing in class!

Thank you to all who came to the ELA MCAS Bootcamp! We will be holding another Bootcamp for the Math MCAS over April break, more details for that will be given when it gets closer.

It's that time of year again where we will be MAP testing! Students in 3-5 will be taking the ELA, Language, Math, and Science MAP Session this winter and Grade 3 is also taking the Reading Fluency Session as well. Dates are listed below in the Upcoming Dates Section.

Please make sure that students are present, on time, and ready to go! We recommend having a big healthy breakfast so that their brains and fueled and ready to work. I am so excited to see how much the students have grown compared to the Fall sessions.

I know the weather is very chilly lately and students want to be bundled up throughout the day, so here is a reminder of how they can do this while still following the uniform policy.

K-8 Uniform

• Khaki uniform pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, or jumpers (hems no shorter than 3 inches above the knee)
• Forest Green polo shirt
• Forest Green or Black sweater, crewneck, cardigan, or vest with no logos or decorations other than CCSL Logo. Polo shirt must be underneath. No Hoodies!
• Closed-toed shoes (no crocks or sandals)

PE Uniform - this is only to be worn on PE Days!

• Forest Green or Black t-shirt or long sleeve plain or with school logo
• Forest Green or Black sweatpants or shorts plain or with school logo (no spandex)
• Sneakers

Uniforms can be purchased from anywhere as long as guidelines are followed. If you would like to purchase uniform with the school logo, please follow the directions on the school website.

• 2/26 - 3C MAP Reading Fluency
• 2/27 - 3D MAP Reading Fluency
• 3/3 - Grades 3-5 ELA MAP

• 3/14 - Half Day for Students (dismissal at 12:30)
• 3/18 - Grades 3-5 Math MAP
• 3/28 - End of Quarter 3
