Principal's Message
Clairmont Bulldog Community,
I hope you had a restful and enjoyable spring break! We are excited to welcome our students back as we begin the final quarter of the school year. The fourth quarter is always a time of growth and celebration, and we are eager to finish strong.
As we move forward, I want to take a moment to share a few important updates:
- CAASPP Testing: In just two weeks, our students will begin the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) testing. These assessments are an important tool in measuring our students' progress and understanding in key subjects. It is essential that all students are present and prepared during testing. Please make sure that your child gets a good night's sleep before testing days, and arrives to school on time.
- Attendance and Punctuality: Regular attendance is critical, especially as we approach the end of the year. Please help your child to arrive on time every day so they can fully participate in classroom activities and testing. Consistent attendance supports their academic success, and we greatly appreciate your partnership in making school a priority.
- Communication with Teachers: We encourage open communication with our teachers throughout the year. If you have any concerns regarding your child’s progress, please reach out to your child’s teacher. We are here to support you and ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed.
- School Uniform Policy: We kindly remind families to adhere to the school uniform policy. This helps maintain a focused learning environment for all students. Please take a moment to review the uniform guidelines with your child to ensure they are dressed in accordance with our policy.
- End-of-Year Activities: As we approach the end of the year, it’s important for students to continue following school rules and maintaining positive behavior. Students who consistently demonstrate responsibility, respect, and teamwork will be able to participate in our end-of-year activities. Let’s work together to help our students finish strong and make this a memorable and successful year!
Thank you for your continued support. We are looking forward to a fantastic finish to the school year!
Best Regards,
Principal Shorter

Middle School Course Catalog:
Lodi USD has released a new Middle School Course Catalog! It includes information about core subjects such as English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, and foreign languages (available at select sites). Please note that elective offerings vary by school, and site staff will provide additional details. The catalog also includes information about A-G requirements to help families understand college and career readiness. While the College/Career Indicator (CCI) and Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways are part of high school, middle school is a great time to start thinking about future opportunities.

Aunque el Indicador de Preparación Universitaria y Profesional (CCI) y el programa de Educación Técnica y Profesional (CTE) forman parte de la High School, durante la Middle School es un buen momento para comenzar a pensar en futuras oportunidades
