November Panther News!
We hope you are enjoying the seasonal weather, and spending some wonderful fall time outside! We have several events coming in November, and the learning continues. Please find time to read this newsletter and see all the wonderful things our students and educators have been up to!
Office News: If you owe beginning of year registration fees, reminder statements have now been sent. If you are in need of any free/reduced lunch applications, please let the office know and we can send another application home as well.
Weather: Please note, we ask students to wear a coat when the weather dips below 50 degrees. Please help your child to remember their layers to bring to school. As a side note, labeling your child's clothes may help to ensure it comes back home! Thanks!
Lost and NOT found: PLEASE check these next photos, and have your child pick up what is theirs. We have an abundance of items, and would like to get them back to their owners!

4th Graders "Adopt a Calf"
Our class is participating in the Adopt a Calf Program. We will be watching our calf, Disco Diva, grow up on her farm in Lancaster, Wisconsin through pictures and video updates. In addition, the program offers a variety of lessons and opportunities to learn about the dairy industry. We are hoping to receive a grant to fund our trip to a local dairy farm.
We will be participating in the America's Favorite Calf campaign on November 4-November 6th. The calf receiving the most votes wins a calf care package and ice cream party for their adoptive classrooms. We'd appreciate your vote for DISCO DIVA November 4th-November 6th.

White Cane Day
Kindergarten students participated in "White Cane Day" and learned all about what this means for our friends with a visual impairment. As a Purdy school community, we have worked with a place that has designed braille Purdy shirts for any who wish to purchase! Here is the link and this will be live until December 4th.
