2nd Quarter Newsletter
News
We are on to the 2nd quarter in first grade and things are running smoothly! Students are working hard in differentiated literacy and math groups. We are excited with the progress students are making!
Reminders
* Students have a weekly spelling test. See the practice take home work in folders weekly or contact your child's teacher for the words.
* Make sure your child is getting plenty of rest.
* Tennis shoes are the best choice for running and playing on the playground. We go outside four times a day! Please double knot tennis shoes. If your child does not know how to tie shoes, it's a good time to practice at home!
*Check your child's backpack for their orange folder and return it back to school. You will find student work and important information in these folders.
*Please do not allow your child to bring toys to school unless notified by a teacher.
* If there is a change in dismissal for your child, the office must be notified.
*Attendance is really important! Let's work together to ensure your student is coming to school every day ready to learn!
*Students can bring a snack and water bottle daily! Snacks should be small and be able to be consumed in 5 minutes or less.
* As the weather gets colder, please be sure to dress your child appropriately!
