MASC Winter Conference
Event Date: Saturday, January 25, 2025
Location: Walter Johnson High School, Montgomery County
On-site Check-in: 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Event: 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Registration Opens: Registration is open for member schools.
Registration closes: Wednesday, January 15, 2025
Cost: $30 for students and advisors ($25 for approved, selected presenters)

Membership: A MASC Member Schools Only Event
Transportation Form: Please complete the form before registering for the MASC event to secure transportation. Please specify the number of delegates and advisor(s) attending the conference. Reservation for buses is on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are two buses. Once SMASC reaches its capacity, transportation will be closed.

Community Opportunities
Maryland Civic Coalition. The Maryland Civic Coalition has shared information about upcoming opportunities for students. This bipartisan group focuses on uniting students, teachers, experts, scholars, and community members. The coalition aims to ensure that all students in Maryland receive meaningful, hands-on civic education and service-learning opportunities.
- “Your School, Your Voice Act.” Join Delegate Joe Vogel for a virtual rally on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 4:00 PM to support his legislation, the “Your School, Your Voice Act.” This innovative bill empowers counties in Maryland to pass local laws allowing individuals at least 16 years old and registered to vote in those counties to participate in elections for their county Board of Education. - Youth Advisory Council. The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) serves as a platform for students from across Maryland to participate in service and leadership activities. Learn more about this opportunity.
