This document contains all the essential information to ensure a smooth, fun, and memorable experience for you and your family. Picture Day Location
Picture Day will be held at Above The Barre’s Bagley location: 1450 West Bagley Rd, Berea, OH 44017.
Picture Day Information
A professional photographer will be on-site on Sunday, May 4th, to capture beautiful keepsakes of your dancer’s accomplishments. Visualizations Photography will create an online gallery where you can view and purchase your dancer’s photos. Even if you don't plan to purchase, please bring your child to be included in the group photo, as all group photos will be featured in the 2025 ATB Souvenir Program! You’ll receive a detailed picture day schedule in your email soon.
On Picture Day, please ensure all hair and makeup are completed at home. Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. If your child has only one costume, please have them wear it to the studio to minimize the need for changing space. Your child should stay with their group and gather on the gray carpet outside the Black Box studio, where a teacher will meet the class and escort them inside.
Parents and guardians will wait on the gray carpet or in the lobbies while the photo session is in progress. Parents will not be allowed inside the studio during photos. Please do not drop off your child and leave them unattended—your presence is required to ensure their costume, hair, and makeup are properly prepared.

Dress Rehearsal & Concert Location
All dance concerts and rehearsals are at the Westlake City Schools Performing Arts Center at 27830 Hilliard Blvd, Westlake, Ohio 44145.
Dress Rehearsal Information
Dress rehearsals will be held at the Westlake Performing Arts Center on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, in place of regular classes. Above, you will find your dancer’s designated dress rehearsal time based on their show.
Please ensure your child arrives in full costume, with hair and makeup complete, and is seated in the auditorium by the scheduled start time. We will practice the “Finale” first. Once your dancer has performed their class dance(s), they are free to leave. This is a closed rehearsal, and only one parent may attend. Wristbands will be provided upon your arrival at the dress rehearsal. Please do not put the wristband on until the day of your dancer’s performance. The wristband is also required to pick up your child from the dressing room after the finale on performance day.
Wristband Distribution
Wristbands will be available for pickup during your dancer's dress rehearsal. This wristband will serve as your ticket for the rehearsal and must be used for security purposes to pick up your child at the end of their show. This ensures the safe return of each dancer after the show is complete.
Concert Information
Each dancer will only participate in one of our concerts unless you are a part of our Dance Company program. The attached ATB “Adventure Is Out There” Show List for 2025 will indicate which show & day your child will be participating in this year. You can also find your dancers' designated show in your parent portal under the classes “resource” tab. Each show features a diverse mix of ages and skill levels, ensuring an entertaining experience for all.
Please note that no parents, grandparents, or guests will be permitted backstage during the performances unless they are assisting their child with costume changes. Adult supervision will be provided in all preschool/rec dressing rooms throughout the event. For safety reasons, all performers are required to remain backstage until the show has concluded.
Costume Distribution
Costumes will be fitted and distributed during your dancer’s regularly scheduled class from April 28th - May 3rd. To ensure everything fits properly, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to assist your child in trying on their costume. Along with the costume, you will receive the appropriate tights for your child’s dance and any necessary accessories to complete the look. You will also receive detailed instructions regarding hair and makeup at that time.
It is crucial that you write your child’s name on all costume pieces, shoes, and extra supplies to prevent mix-ups. Please do not allow your child to wear the tights for anything other than picture day and dress rehearsal before the concert.
Please note that costumes will only be distributed to accounts in good standing. This policy is strictly enforced, and there will be no exceptions.
Video Information
Videotaping is prohibited in the auditorium during performances, and for the safety of our dancers, flash photography is not allowed. OSV will be professionally recording all shows for the 2025 ATB Summer Dance Concerts. Each family will receive a link to view the concert videos at no additional charge.
Ticket Sales
Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 5th, at noon. ATB Summer Dance Concert tickets will only be sold online at Cur8.com. Concert tickets are tiered pricing, ranging from $20 to $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 10 and under. Per the City of Westlake Fire Marshal, every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket per their code. Do not purchase a ticket for your dancer. All dancers must stay backstage for the entire performance.
Purchasing tickets is easy. Please follow the instructions below:
Choose your concert time based on the attached Concert List, pick your exact seats, and proceed to checkout.
Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, or Discover
Print your tickets, and we will see you at the show!
ShowTix4U charges a minimal convenience fee for each ticket sold. There is also an additional charge if you have tickets mailed to you instead of printing them at home. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door for $25 for adults and $20 for children ages 10 and under.
“Showcase Of The Stars” tickets will be sold through our front desk for $20 each.
Westlake Performing Arts Center is handicapped accessible. Tickets are available on a first come, first-served basis, so don’t wait to purchase tickets.
Dance Concert Souvenir Package and Program
The “Adventure Is Out There” Dance Concert Package order form link is at the top of this document. The package includes an exclusive 2025 ATB t-shirt personalized with your dancer’s name, along with a souvenir program featuring your child’s group photo, all for $40. Souvenir packages will be available for pick-up at the Westlake Performing Arts Center on the day of your child’s concert, prior to the performance.
Purchase a special “Adventure Is Out There” souvenir program to enhance your concert experience. This beautiful, full-color 8.5”x11” booklet includes the names of all dancers, their dance titles, class photos—making it a perfect keepsake or gift! Pre-order your program for just $16 using the attached Dance Concert Package Order Form. Programs will be available for pickup before your child’s concert at the Westlake Performing Arts Center. A limited number of programs will be available at the door for $21, so pre-ordering is highly recommended.

Program Ads
ATB offers limited full-color advertising pages for your business, as well as the opportunity to showcase your dancer with a special ad or a personalized “Shout Out” in the 2025 Dance Concert Program. For more details, please refer to the attached “ATB Dance Concert Ad Form” for advertising options.

Dance Concert Music
All ATB Dance Concert Music will be available for your child through the Parent Portal in the class resource section. To access your child’s class music, go to abovethebarre.com on your device, log in to your Customer Portal, and click on your dancer’s class to find their music in the Resource tab.
5,10, & 15 Year Awards
Awards and photo recognition in our program are given to students who have been enrolled continuously at Above The Barre for 5, 10, or 15 years! If your dancer is eligible for this award, please be sure to complete the ATB 5, 10, & 15-Year Form, linked below, to ensure your dancer is properly recognized at our concerts.
Flowers
Flowers for your dancer(s) will be available for purchase in the lobby on the day of the Dance Concert at Westlake Performing Arts Center. All proceeds from flower sales will go towards ATB scholarships for our dancers. Additional details will be provided at a later date.
Miscellaneous
You will be receiving an email in April to confirm the spelling of your dancer’s name for our program and souvenir t-shirt. Please make sure you reply if there are any discrepancies.
Summer Schedule
Your dancer’s current schedule will continue after the Dance Concert through the end of Session 12, Sunday, August 16th, 2025. Continued training in your regular class is highly recommended to keep your dancer active and engaged while advancing their dance education in the summer.
2025/2026 Dance Schedule
Classes for the 2025-2026 season will begin on August 25th. For your convenience, dancers with continued enrollment through August will receive priority enrollment and be automatically registered in the appropriate teacher-recommended class closest to their current class day/time to continue their dance education. Look for your dancer’s Progress Report and fall class recommendation at the end of May 2025.
Beginning June 23rd, your dancer will be able to transfer into their teacher-recommended class or, if you are interested, try something new! Class schedules for the 2025-2026 season will be available for open enrollment on July 2nd, 2025.
Important Notice:
Your account balance must be in good standing before receiving your child’s costume. Costumes will be tried on during your child’s regular class from April 28th to May 3rd. Your child will not be able to try on their costumes until your account balance is at zero.
To participate in the June Dance Concert, your account balance, including June tuition, must be in good standing. Your child will not be able to participate in the concert until your account balance is at zero. There are no exceptions. Thank you!
