Principal Message
Testing has begun. Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking the M-Step this month. If you have specific questions about your child's testing days, please reach out to their teacher. The students have worked hard all year and we are proud of their accomplishments. We are in the home stretch with many things happening.
The last couple of months of school are going to be busy. Be on the look out for messages from your child's teacher and make sure to review your child's Thursday folder for important information.
Kindly,
Jodi Schreiber

Upcoming School Year
As the final weeks of our school year are rapidly approaching, we will be diligently working on class placements for the 2023-2024 school year. Please know that we thoroughly consider many factors in determining the best classroom placement of each student in order to best accommodate and support individual student and family needs. We take a great deal of pride in considering and discussing what will provide for a positive experience for our students, knowing their academic needs, personalities, peer relationships, and looking at the overall classroom dynamics. Given the many factors that must be considered in these important decisions, If you would like the opportunity to share your thoughts for your child's next year's class placements you will need please follow the process below. Please understand that parent requests can not always be honored.
If you would like to provide us with placement information, please visit our office to pick up a copy of the Placement Input form.
This form must be returned by Monday, May 1, 2023. It will be difficult to take parent input into consideration after this deadline, as the process of finalizing student placements and balancing classrooms is time-sensitive and critical to ensuring a great year at Ottawa for 2023-2024!
Thank you for your continuous support.
