Vouchers for PR materials will also be arriving in your inbox today. Please email Jeremy to confirm you've received your library's voucher (or to let him you didn't receive one). The vouchers do not have a PO number yet, but that will be coming shortly.
Orders using the vouchers must be placed before January 29, 2016.
And while we're talking summer 2016, I'd like to point you to two recent blog posts. ALSC just shared the results from their Survey on Summer Reading Trends and Marge Loch-Wouters offered thoughts and tips on shaking up summer reading programs. State youth services coordinators have also been having a great discussion about how to best evaluate summer reading programs. Is it by gathering participation numbers? Program attendance? Or would narrative feedback provide a better picture of the impact the summer reading program has on families? I don't have an answer, but I hope that as we begin planning SRP 2016 we can discuss and think about the intent behind the summer reading program and how to measure its impact in RI communities.
