HHS Principal's Update: Week 7
Thursday, September 26th
Good Evening HHS Students and Families,
We’ve had an exciting week at HHS, and there’s even more to come! Last Friday, we celebrated a huge win against our district rival QHHS, and yesterday, our Girls Flag Football team won the eagerly anticipated matchup vs KHS! But it wasn’t just our teams that had a great showing. Our band, cheer squad, and student section kept the energy high the entire evening, making it an unforgettable night! All of our athletic teams have been doing a fantastic job, and our students proudly represented us in the Latino Knowledge Bowl. I’m always impressed with how our students exceed my high expectations day after day.
Tonight, our teams are on the road at KHS, and we’re looking forward to another strong performance. Tomorrow evening, we’ll gather for Noche en la Plaza, followed by our school dance—a great way to wrap up the week! Looking ahead, as we finish September and move into October, we’re gearing up for Homecoming Week, which starts on October 8th. It’s going to be a week full of school spirit and fun activities for everyone to enjoy! Please also keep in mind that the end of the first quarter is October 11th. Grades are incredibly important as they determine eligibility for extracurricular activities, so make sure to stay on top of assignments and assessments. To support our students, we have tutoring, Morning Math, and Saturday School available. Don't miss out on these valuable resources! Thank you for your continued support of our campus! Go Bulldogs!
Have a great Friday and weekend!
