January 27th - First Day of Second Semester
All students will get a new paper schedule on the morning of January 27th before 1st hour.

Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
- Volunteering: Participate in a local food bank, neighborhood cleanup, or other service project
- Attending events: Attend lectures, panel discussions, or workshops about civil rights, social justice, and equality
- Supporting causes: Join or support advocacy groups, sign petitions, or participate in campaigns
- Participating in marches and parades: Take part in a march or parade to honor Dr. King's legacy
- Listening to speeches: Hear speeches from civil rights leaders and politicians
- Visiting national parks: Explore national parks that preserve Dr. King's legacy, and check for special events or ranger programs
- Visiting cultural institutions: Check out special programming at museums and other cultural institutions
- Reading: Read about Dr. King's life and the impact he had on civil rights and social justice
- Creating art: Make a "peace" craft, like a peace sign, dove, or heart garland
- Displaying images: Identify and display images of Dr. King in nontraditional settings

Girls Basketball Tryouts - January 27th & January 28th, 3-5pm
Wrestling officially starts February 4th @ABMS North
There is optional wrestling conditioning again this year before the season starts in February, for anyone interested. It will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at MS North. Please contact the coaches with any questions. Students cannot participate unless they have an updated physical on file dated on or after April 15, 2024.
