THE STRENGTH OF THE WOLF IS ITS PACK
Wasco Weekly
November 22, 2024
Wasco Families,
On Monday, our district's Chief Academic Officer and school principals presented the Student Achievement Report, highlighting progress in our Strategic Plan's key areas of Effective Collaboration and Instructional Coherence. At Wasco, I'm particularly proud of our teachers' dedicated work in analyzing priority standards and using curriculum-aligned assessments to track student learning.
Parents now have updates on their children's progress towards grade-level standards, providing transparency and insight into academic growth, and this is aligned K-12. The presentation offers a comprehensive view of our district's commitment to educational excellence.
You can watch the presentation here. My favorite part is hour and minute 1.29. There is nothing better than a group of people working together and committed to making sure kids are learning, and that is our culture of dignity in action!
Kind Regards,
Mrs. Brennan

Wasco Parking Lot Guide 24-25
The map below displays how Wasco organizes dismissal for car riders. We will be directing students to wait on our “front lawn” for their ride. If they see their families' vehicle, they can walk along the sidewalk and enter the stopped vehicle. If you would like to leave your car to pick up your child, you are free to park in the lot.
You can save this as a handy reference for your caregivers or visiting family members who do pick up as well!

A Message From P.E.
Dear Wasco Families,
This week our school participated in the annual WSSA World Record STACK UP! event! The World Record attempt is for the “Most People Sport Stacking at Multiple Locations”. The goal was to beat 746,698 people Sport/Cup Stacking. Your child was counted in this RECORD BREAKING ATTEMPT! We will have the final results in a few weeks. Also, if you are looking for a special gift for the upcoming holiday season, consider a set of stacking cups!
