Parking
Hello Washington Families:
Please read the parking reminders for drop-off and dismissal below:
Do not park where you see orange traffic cones
Only use the three (15 minute) parking spots at the corner of 68th Street/Garfield Avenue. Cars should NEVER be parked or stopped on the East side of 68th street near the front door.
DO NOT turn around in our neighbors' driveways. Be patient and go around the block.
IF you are using the hug and go on 67th street, do not leave your car. Stay in your car and a staff member will call down your child.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Enjoy your weekend!
Mr. Russell

Winter MAP Testing Kindergarten thru Fifth Grade
We give students MAP tests to determine your child’s instructional level and to measure academic growth throughout the school year, and from year to year in the areas of reading and math. SK through 5th grade will use chromebooks in their classrooms to complete the MAP tests.
MAP tests are unique in that they adapt to be appropriate for your child’s level of learning. As a result, each student has the same opportunity to succeed and maintain a positive attitude toward testing. Each school year, students at the elementary level take the tests during Sept/October, January and May. Following each testing period, you will receive a report showing your child’s growth. If you have any questions about MAP testing, please contact your child(ren)’s teacher.
Schedule for Winter MAP Testing @ Washington:
Week of January 22nd Winter MAP – Math Kinder and First Grade
Week of January 29th Winter MAP – Math Second thru Fifth Grade
