SENIOR KENLEE HOLBROOK
What does it mean to be a Savage? Being a Savage to me means showing up every day with a positive attitude as well as being willing to help others. Being a Savage also means having pride in my work, my school and our community.
Future goals: Go to East Central University to get a teaching degree and to teach at Wynnewood High School.
Activities involved in: FCCLA
Hobbies outside of school: Crocheting, hanging out with friends, and sleeping
Favorite thing about school: My favorite thing about school is going to Mrs. Rose and Coach Rounsaville's class.
SENIOR JOSHUA BARBER
What does it mean to be a Savage? It means caring for other people, stop people from being mean and not judging others.
Future goals: I want to start my own mowing company.
Activities involved in: Yearbook
Hobbies outside of school: I like to skate, hang out with friends, listen to music, play basketball, mow and weedeat and I also like to clean out cars.
Favorite thing about school: I like to draw, so probably art.
JUNIOR MELISSA RODRIGUEZ
What does it mean to be a Savage? To be respectful and support your community.
Future goals: My future goals are to become an Obstetric Ultrasound Tech taking either the college or the program route.
Activities involved in: Yearbook and MATC
Hobbies outside of school: My hobbies are going on walks, hanging out with friends and family and cooking/baking.
Favorite thing about school: My favorite thing about school is going to Yearbook.
JUNIOR CHANDLER APPLETON
What does it mean to be a Savage? To work day in and day out.
Future goals: To attend college or to enter the workforce.
Activities involved in: Football, basketball and weights.
Hobbies outside of school: Playing basketball with my friends.
Favorite thing about school: Sports
SOPHOMORE LARISSA LOPEZ
What does it mean to be a Savage? Supporting my school with pride and enthusiasm by participating in activities, respecting others and representing the school in a positive way.
Future goals: I plan to go to college and major in Cosmetology.
Activities involved in: Basketball
Hobbies outside of school: Hanging out with family and friends, and going to church.
Favorite thing about school: Seeing friends.
SOPHOMORE JEREMIAH MARTINEZ
What does it mean to be a Savage? Always do the right thing.
Future goals: Enter the workforce, or maybe go to college.
Activities involved in: Basketball, football and track
Hobbies outside of school: Hanging out with family, friends, and my girlfriend. I like to sleep if I have free time and play basketball.
Favorite thing about school: Playing sports.
FRESHMAN JORDYNE PITTS
What does it mean to be a Savage? To be encouraging and to try your absolute best in anything that you do. Whenever someone messes up or gets frustrated with someone or something, help them and encourage them to do what's right.
Future goals: I plan on graduating from Wynnewood High School and attending a college to get a degree that will result in a high paying job.
Activities involved in: Basketball, softball, track, powerlifting and the Black History Club.
Hobbies outside of school: Art, outside activities and solving puzzles.
Favorite thing about school: The sports.
FRESHMAN HUNTER DOTSON
What does it mean to be a Savage? It means to do whatever it takes to do the right thing.
Future goals: My future goals are to be the best at everything that I do. I want to win State in football and I would like to attend MATC for small motor repair.
Activities involved in: Football, powerlifting, baseball and track.
Hobbies outside of school: I like hunting and fishing and hanging out with my friends.
Favorite thing about school: Athletics and Computers.
MATC SPOTLIGHT
Our MATC Student of the Week is Mr. Eli Cheek. Eli is a junior student enrolled in the Cyber Security program at MATC. He chose attending MATC so that he could learn more about computers. His favorite thing about attending is the hands-on work that he is able to do there. Eli's future plans are to work in the IT field and to be a Streamer.
