Here Comes the Bus® app allows you to view the real-time location of your student’s school bus on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. With it, you will have the information you need regarding the location of your student’s school bus. What’s more, you’ll have peace of mind knowing your student has not missed the bus.
Here Comes the Bus® apps is free and enables you to:
- See the location of your student’s bus both before and after school;
- Confirm that your student’s bus has arrived at the bus stop, at school, or both;
- Receive a push notification* or email message when the bus is near your stop, has been substituted, or when Texas Central School Bus has important information to relay.
Here Comes the Bus® is powered by Synovia Solutions™, makers of the GPS-tracking technology used by Texas Central School Bus. Available in three languages (English, Spanish, and French), the Here Comes the Bus® app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, Fossil Ridge High School will administer the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT). The PSAT is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. The PSAT/NMSQT has three parts: Reading, Math, and Writing & Language. The most common reasons students take the PSAT/NMSQT are to: help assess skills necessary for college-level work, prepare for the SAT, enter competitions for National Scholarships (junior year), and receive information from colleges.
All sophomore and junior students will test at no cost to them and are automatically registered. Parents or guardians of freshmen may choose to have their child participate in the administration of the PSAT for a fee of $17. To register your (freshman) student for the PSAT, you may pay online at the FRHS web store by credit card. Cash payments will need to be the exact amount ($17), as change will not be provided. See Mrs. Goodman in the main office to pay with cash/check. The deadline for registration is September 16th.
