Summit K12 Testing For Emergent Bilingual Students

The Interim Assessment window for Summit K12 is open! Our EB students on campus will take their mid year assessment during Colt Time Dec.2-Dec. 6.

Every week our staff members have the opportunity to nominate one CMS Student to receive a Colt Pride Award. These students have demonstrated at least one of our Colt Pride Values: Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline, Excellence! Way to go COLTS!

GCISD is partnering with Recovery Resource Council to bring Drug and Alcohol prevention curriculum to middle school students during the 2024-25 Spring semester. As approved by the GCISD Student Health Advisory Committee, sixth graders will receive eight lessons using Life Skills Training curriculum during PE/Pre-Athletics, and seventh and eighth graders will each receive one Drug & Alcohol Prevention lesson. All students will participate in this program unless a Parent Opt Out is received. If you need a paper copy of this, please contact your Student Advocate. We will be providing a virtual Parent Preview via Zoom link on Dec. 11th at 10:00 AM. (Meeting ID: 883 4600 2092) Please see the flyer below with more details. Thank you to our generous CMS Families for sponsoring the Thanksgiving Pies to our wonderful teachers and staff. We are so thankful for everything they do for our students and our school. We hope everyone has the best Thanksgiving holiday!

DADS’ CLUB TURKEY DRIVE

We are excited to announce that we were able to donate over 120 turkeys and a truck load of food items to Grace! Thank you to our Dads’ Club for coordinating this fun event and helping our community in this way!

CMS students are required to wear their school issued ID every day. If they forget their ID at home they should report to the office to receive a temporary ID. On the 3rd Student ID infraction students will be assigned a lunch detention.

If your ID is lost you may purchase a new one in the front office for $5 (cash only)
