ELD Observations
Rogers Public Schools has requested to visit Walker during our ELD block as they are developing their own program. Their team will observe both our ELD and proficient classes to understand our operations, focusing on co-teaching strategies, student transitions, groupings, and lessons for proficient groups. The visit will take place on Tuesday Oct. 15th. This is a date change from previous communication.

Facebook Posts
We want to share our story through our Facebook posts, and our goal is to have at least one post per week from each grade level. To help us achieve this, please take pictures during any lessons or activities you'd like to showcase. You can send these to Cole Sewell by either text or email.
If you're sending photos via text, please do so during the school day. Along with the pictures, include a brief summary of the activity or lesson.
Thank you for helping us highlight the amazing work happening in our classrooms!

If you have completed Human Trafficking: Who are the victims? - ERC24009, given your certificate to Katie and entered it into the PD system then you do not have to attend the October 23rd staff meeting.
Required Professional Development
This year we have 2 required PD's from the state. We will provide time during future faculty meetings to complete these but if you do them on your own, turn in your certificate (email Katie or put in her box) and report it on our pd page then you will not need to attend those time(s).

IDEAS Course Codes:

Human Trafficking: Who are the victims? - ERC24009
REMINDERS:
1. Email Katie or put PD certificate in box (one of them we have most likely done before so the date won't update, just sign it and let me know when you redid the training)
