Dear Rayburn Parents,
I want to express my gratitude for bringing your students to our school everyday! I am grateful to have families that are supportive and caring. We saw all the effort you all put into the family storybook pumpkins! They were all AMAZING works of art!
Students have been doing a great job learning in the classroom. I am so grateful of how well our students, parents, and staff have come together to make this year successful!
We are getting ready to begin district fall benchmarks for grades 3-5 (see calendar of events below). Our campus leadership team has been analyzing weekly assessment data and are working with teachers to put a strong action plan in place to address any areas of weakness. We will then continue to assess students and monitor their progress through small group targeted learning sessions, after school tutoring, and Saturday Language Development Academies. Please know that teachers are creating prescriptive lessons to assist your child in meeting learning goals.
Our Annual Fall Festival is around the corner 11/11/23. Please support our school and join us for a fun night of games, food, and rides. Thank you to those who recruited sponsors for this event. Please review the flyer below for more information. We have been able to add many improvements to our school with these funds as well as pay for many student activities/incentives. We will be pre-selling tickets and wristbands from 11/1-11/09.
Please stay attentive to our district and campus emails and posts. We have a lot of November activities scheduled and encourage your children and/or family to participate. Please know that we are here to support your child any way we can and we look forward to another successful six weeks of learning.
