Kia ora tatou,
Keely Rendell Memorial Service
On behalf of the entire Stanley Avenue School staff I would like to say a big thank you for your support and cooperation on Wednesday. Closing the school and having students carry out their learning from home meant the staff could pay their respects and farewell an incredibly important person to us. It was a beautiful service, one that Keely would have been proud of.
We are blessed to have such a supportive school community.

We are fortunate again to have a strong and stable staff moving into 2024. In next week's newsletter we will publish the makeup of the teaching teams and the year levels that they will be teaching.

Junior Athletics Fun day
On Thursday morning we held a Junior Athletics Fun Day for all 5, 6 and 7 year old students from Piwakawaka and Pukeko.
Students had lots of fun moving around the 6 different stations which included activities in the Rec Centre, water relays, sack relays and egg and spoon races, accuracy throw, parachute and an obstacle course. To top the morning off everyone got a juicy for morning tea!
It was lovely to see lots of family and friends here supporting and encouraging the younger students. Thank you for coming along!
