7th and 8th Grade Soccer
The FMS soccer team proved to be tough competitors in every game they played this season. Led by a strong group of 8th graders, they were able to develop their foot skills and improve passing. Their teamwork and sportsmanship paved their way to many victories, ending the season with a 9-3 record. The 7th graders look forward to an exciting season next year!
7th Grade Volleyball
This 7th grade Falcon volleyball team played tough! Often scrapping back from tough starts, these girls might have started their games nervous, but once they settled in, the other team was in for a battle, whether we played Cloverleaf, Norton, or Springfield. Over the course of the season, this team only lost league games to Cloverleaf and Norton. They took 3rd place in the Rootstown Tournament and tied Norton for 2nd in their season league record.
8th Grade Volleyball
The 2024 8th grade girls volleyball team completed its season with a MAC conference record of 8 - 6, 9 - 10 overall. Marked improvement was seen in each of the girl’s individual skill sets, as well as, in team play. We worked hard in practice on passing to our target and transitioning quickly from offense to defense. As a result of our hard work and efforts our volleyball fans were treated to many matches full of long and hard fought volleyball volley’s!!

As students transition to high school, they will access Schoolinks to schedule next year’s courses, create a four-year course plan that fulfills graduation requirements, and ultimately utilize it in the college application process. 🎃 Falcon Fall Frenzy: A Night to Remember! 🎃
What an unforgettable evening at this year’s Falcon Fall Frenzy! The perfect fall weather brought over 2,000 people to our campus, and the excitement in the air was electric from start to finish.
The Trunk or Treat competition was fierce, with National Honor Society, The Moore Family, and The Big Red Community Foundation taking home top honors for their amazing decorations. All 45 trunks were in full festive mode, handing out thousands of pieces of candy and treats as the Trunk or Treat set-up stretched nearly a quarter-mile long!
The Haunted Hallway was a spooky masterpiece, with a line nearly spilling out the middle school doors. Huge thanks to the Field High School Drama Club for bringing our middle school artists’ and actors’ chilling vision to life. The Field Local Teachers Association sponsored the inflatables, with NJHS ensuring everything that was set up ran smoothly all night long! Meanwhile, the high school volleyball team made sure the Treat Trail was a hit, and the cross country team kept kids entertained with their fun games!!
Costumes? Oh, they were next-level! Our Falcon Community really showed up this year!! With so many amazing entries, picking the winners of this year’s costume was incredibly tough!

Attention Sixth Grade Parents
This letter is to inform you of the immunization requirements for (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis), as a booster to the initial series of required doses. Ohio is requiring the Tdap vaccine, as opposed to Td, to protect against Pertussis (whooping cough). In addition to the Tdap, your child is also required to receive the Meningococcal vaccine prior to the entry into Grade 7. The Meningococcal vaccine prevents bacteria that is commonly spread from person to person, especially in teens and young adults. These bacteria can cause meningitis, which is an infection of the fluid and lining surrounding the brain and spinal cord; it can also enter the bloodstream, causing sepsis. Please contact your health care provider to schedule an appointment to receive the vaccines your child will need for the next year. For a complete list of immunization requirements for school-age children in the State of Ohio, please go to: www.odh.ohio.gov/odhPrograms/dis/Immunization/imunchsc.aspx REQUIRED 7th Grade shots (2 shots): · Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) · Meningococcal vaccine
