Fun at Notre Dame
Who Says Cutting and Pasting is for Little Kids Only?
English 20-1 students got into groups and sorted various quotes from Act 1 of Macbeth into the appropriate motif/theme. Since the activity required them to read the quote in context, it was great review for a quiz. It also promoted a lot of really great conversation and critical thinking about the BEST place to classify each quote. Kids had fun. And learned too.
