Celebrating the Holidays and Looking Forward to the New Year at High AIMS
Dear High AIMS Community,
As we approach the winter break and reflect on the incredible journey we've had this year, we are filled with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead. The holidays are a time for joy, reflection, and connection, and we at High AIMS are thrilled about the upcoming festivities and the promise of a new year.
Our collaborative efforts have truly been the heartbeat of our success. The camaraderie and shared knowledge within our cohorts have not only enriched our professional lives but have also forged lasting connections that go beyond the professional realm. The collaborative spirit at High AIMS continues to be a driving force behind our accomplishments.
A highlight of this year has undoubtedly been the Harannesing AI event, a remarkable gathering that brought together diverse perspectives, innovative ideas, and a shared passion for advancing education through technology. The event was a testament to the power of collaboration and the potential for positive change within our educational community.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Forward Edge and First Student for their invaluable partnerships. Your commitment to excellence and dedication to our shared goals have played a pivotal role in the success of our initiatives. Together, we have achieved milestones and set the stage for even greater achievements in the future.
As we take this well-deserved break to spend time with loved ones and recharge our spirits, let's carry the warmth of the holiday season into the new year. May the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and shared success continue to propel us forward.
Wishing you all a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year!
Warm regards,
Tom Burton

Harnessing the Power of AI in Education Workshop was a Success
We thank each of you for participating in the "Harnessing the Power of AI in Education" Workshop. Your presence and engagement contributed immensely to the success of the event. We trust that the workshop was a valuable learning experience for you, offering a deeper understanding of AI and its implications for education.
As we navigate the evolving landscape of education technology, your engagement in such events is crucial in fostering a community of professionals who are well-equipped to harness the benefits of AI for the betterment of education.
We will share more thoughts about AI from the most recent Leadership Retreat in the January newsletter.
High AIMS Cohort Updates
Dear High AIMS Cohort Participants,
As we approach the midpoint of the academic year, I'm delighted to highlight the success of our recent Cohort meetings. Your active participation has made these gatherings impactful, focusing on collaboration as a critical theme.
Over the past months, our discussions and shared experiences have strengthened professional bonds. I appreciate your commitment to continuous improvement; your dedication is commendable.
I'm looking forward to the second half of the year. I'd like to encourage you to continue attending cohort meetings and to explore school visit opportunities within your cohort to observe best practices and innovative programs. Collaborating with like-minded districts to connect classrooms, buildings, and districts with real-world learning and practices helps educators to grow and impact student learning.
Each cohort will receive a Cohort Collaboration Toolkit via email, a valuable resource initially used by High AIMS instructional coaches. It is a centralized tool for districts to curate and share documents, resources, and best practices. Many cohorts have started utilizing this toolkit to share links to district documents, offering comprehensive insights into innovative programs and best practices.
I appreciate your dedication to the High AIMS Cohort. I anticipate continued collaboration and shared success. Enjoy a wonderful holiday season, returning refreshed for the second half of the school year.
Best regards,
Dr. Mari Phillips
