Buckaroo Bulletin
December 2024
Dear Beard Families:
I hope you all had a relaxing Thanksgiving break and enjoyed some quality time with your kiddos! Our staff certainly appreciated the time to recharge after working so hard to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for your children.
As we dive into the holiday season, let’s take a moment to celebrate the little things that make this time so special—whether it’s decorating, lighting candles, sharing stories and laughter with loved ones, or finding ways to spread kindness. These simple moments remind us of the importance of connection and community. As we prepare for the festivities ahead, let’s cherish these times with our families, creating memories our children will carry with them for a lifetime.
The video below truly spoke to me and embodies the magic of the holiday season. In the video, an older man starts a journey of determination, waking up every morning to lift a weight. At first, we don’t know why he’s so committed—but as the story unfolds, we discover his motivation - I’ll let you watch to see how it all comes together.
This video is a beautiful reminder of what the holiday season is all about—love, dedication, and the lengths we go to for those we hold dear. As parents, caregivers, and educators, we make countless sacrifices, big and small, to create joy and lasting memories for our children.
From all of us at Bob Beard Elementary, thank you for letting us be a part of your child’s journey. May your holiday season be filled with love, joy, and moments as special as celebrating traditions your loved ones.

Thank you for being part of our wonderful community!
We are grateful for Mrs. Knifton’s thoughtfulness. She does what is called “Feel-Good Friday”. She will call a different parent each week to let them know something special that their child did or accomplished that day! It made my day when I got the call for my child! Her positive influence extends beyond the classroom and she gives each student the tools to succeed and the confidence to believe in themselves. Thank you Mrs. Knifton!!
We would like to recognize Ms. Montes for her continued support for our son. Her communication and responses are very much appreciated. Our son has enjoyed being in her class. We love her teaching style and can surely see the positive impact she makes on our son’s daily education. Thank you Ms. Montes!!
