FINANCIAL AID NIGHT
Things you need to complete your FAFSA application:
- Student FSA ID (must be created prior to attending Financial Aid Night- see below)
- Parent FSA ID (must be created prior to attending Financial Aid Night- see below)
- Social Security number (SSN), legal name, date of birth, and email address. You can still complete the FAFSA application if you or your parents do not have a social security number.
- 2023 federal income tax returns (including all applicable schedules)
- Chromebook
The First American Bank Scholarship Open!!!
This scholarship was established in 2012 to help graduating seniors from Chaparral High School realize their educational goals and dreams. Students please use this link to create an account to apply to the First American Bank Scholarship. Application Deadline is April 10, 2025.

Senior January Checklist
- Every college will require a copy of your transcript from your high school. Follow your school’s procedure for sending transcripts. (See link below)
- Make sure testing companies have sent your scores directly to the colleges to which you are applying. (CollegeBoard)
- Begin to organize regular decision applications and financial aid forms, which will be due in January and/or February.
- Keep working hard to get good grades
- Check on the status of your college applications and find out if the colleges need any other information.
- Complete any remaining college applications as necessary
- Continue looking for scholarships
- Consider getting a part-time job to save money and gain some professional experience.
