Be present and ready to learn!

Our school attendance last week was 99.0% This exceeds our target of 97% - thank you!

Thanks for supporting the Big Walk & Wheel. We are doing extremely well! During this week we were in top spot in the North of England and 11th nationally. This is exceptional! Final results will be available after Easter.

There are still spaces left on both after school clubs. If your child would like to take part in outdoor games on a Tuesday or Tag Rugby (KS1) on a Thursday, please sign up via Parentpay. If there is not enough interest in these clubs they may have to be cancelled.

FOSS are holding a table top sale on 13th June. If you have contributions of any good-quality items that people might like to buy, please do bring them into school at any time next half term.

We have attached the latest STAR safeguarding newsletter for parents. We are very keen to seek your views on this, and so if you have any feedback on this or previous editions please do send us a quick note. Thank you.

We are sad to say goodbye to Miss Campbell today. Mrs Gibson will be teaching Sycamore after Easter.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our wraparound care. This has started very positively, and it is great to see so many children starting their day with breakfast together.

Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.

Please ensure you use our new meal selector to order lunches for your child for up to 3 weeks in advance, see the link below.

Each day there are 4 choices, either the hot dinner, hot vegetarian option, jacket potato with a choice of toppings or a sandwich. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.

Packed Lunches - if you are sending grapes in your child's packed lunch, can you please ensure that these are cut in half.

Help raise money for FOSS and label your children's school items. The soft plastic labels can be stuck on machine wash-care labels of clothes, but can also be used on shoes, dishwasher items and general school items.

Please be considerate when parking near the school crossing. If parked too close it can be very difficult to see if it is safe to cross, particularly at pick up time-thank you.
