Spring Sports in Full Swing at Marian Central Catholic!
The spring sports season is heating up at Marian Central Catholic, and our Hurricanes are making waves across every field, court, and course! From dominant performances to thrilling matchups, our student athletes are showcasing their hard work, passion, and competitive spirit.
Girls Soccer is on a hot streak, recently delivering a commanding 7–1 victory over Westminster Christian. The team continues to build momentum as they head into key matchups in the coming weeks.
Softball is battling for a top spot in the conference, showing grit and consistency against some of the toughest teams in the region. Their determination and teamwork are paying off as they climb the standings.
Baseball is taking on one of the most competitive schedules in the Fox Valley area, playing hard and staying focused as they continue to develop throughout the season.
Boys Tennis is off to a strong start, with athletes showing steady improvement and competitive spirit as they prepare for upcoming meets and the postseason.
Track & Field continues to shine with multiple podium finishes at recent events. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams are demonstrating dominance across a range of events and distances.
Bass Fishing is gearing up for another exciting postseason run. The team will compete in the Chain O’ Lakes Regional on Wednesday, May 15th, with their sights set on advancing deep into state competition.

Gala Results - Thank you!
Thank you to the entire Marian Central Catholic community for making this year’s Gala an unforgettable evening of generosity and celebration. Thanks to your incredible support, we raised $165,056 —an achievement that will truly make a lasting impact in the lives of our students. Your presence, enthusiasm, and dedication to our mission are what make Marian Central so special. We are deeply grateful for your continued commitment to our school and our future.
Device Collection
ALL students must return their Marian issued laptops at the end of each school year. Every summer, the school performs regularly scheduled updates and maintenance on all student devices. These devices will then be redistributed to all registered 2025-26 students.

Rockin' the Hill Concert - Stone Temple Pilots 7/26
You're invited to an exclusive invite-only concert this summer and it's one you won't want to miss!
Bunker Hill Charities is hosting Rockin' the Hill, a private invitation-only concert in Woodstock, where Joan Jett & the Blackhearts is the opener for headliner Stone Temple Pilots! The event is Saturday, July 26, at Bunker Hill Farms. Never been? See what it's all about here.
Bunker Hill Charities grants proceeds from the concert to local charities, including Marian Central. We are inviting our Marian Central parents to be part of this incredible experience and help us to continue to raise money for our school.

Caps & Gowns
Senior students received their caps and gowns today during Graduation rehearsal. Seniors who were absent should see Mrs. DiSilvio in the office to pick theirs up.

THE SHIRT
Hurricane Warning!! Attention all Hurricane Fans - It's been a couple of years, but THE SHIRT is back! As Mrs. Littner prepares to retire in 2026 she has decided to do one last spirit shirt. These are the perfect shirt for students (and family members) to wear to sporting events or even to school on spirit dress down days. Each shirt will only be $10 and if you order 2 or more you get 10% off! If you are interested, click here to fill out the form and send your payment (checks made out to Marian Central) to the school via mail (please put Attn: Mrs. Littner on the envelope) or send your student to her room 125 before Friday, May 16th. No shirts can be ordered after that date.
If you have a member of the class of 2026 do NOT order their shirt here. You should have received a separate email about their shirt. All shirts will be delivered to the students during the first week of school next year. If you have questions, please email Mrs. Littner @ llittner@marian.com. Go Canes!!

Exam Exemptions - AP Classes
All students (grades 9-12) who are enrolled in, paid the fee for, and eventually take the College Board test for any AP class have the option to be exempt from taking their end of semester 2 final exam for that class. Students qualify by earning at least an 87% in the class by May 17 AND have taken the AP College Board test. Please use the form below to submit your request to the main office no later than end of day Monday, May 16. AP Exam Exemption Form 2024-25
