WW-P HS South EdTech Bulletin #8
Resources for Integrating Technology into Instruction
January 6, 2017
Happy New Year!
As always, if you need assistance with these or any other tech tools, please reach out to Jess or me. We're happy to help!
Resolution #1: Get Organized!
Is one of your resolutions to get organized during 2017? Are you planning on digitizing some of your files in the ongoing effort to revamp the Mezz?
Check out this ThingLink for tips on organizing your digital life! In this valuable visual resource, I show you how to get organized with Google Drive, Google Calendar, Chrome extensions, bookmarks, and more!

Resolution #2: Experience New Things!
With these viewers, you and your students can take a virtual tour of a famous landmark or museum, watch a short virtual reality film, experience new landscapes, explore the human brain, meditate, and more. There are a ton of possibilities, and all you need is a smartphone, the right app, and a viewer.
With 5 viewers, I'm envisioning this being incorporated into station activities for the time being. Don't forget, I'm also available to support in the classroom, not just planning. We can experience new things together!
Check out the virtual reality resources Jess curated below!
Resolution #3: Read More!
Ever wish you had more time to read for fun? Trust me, I've been there. Why not challenge yourself with the Sixty Books challenge. The Sixty Books movement was created by two of WW-P's own, the amazing Laura Agnella (TRST, K-5) and Melissa Morris-Inoa (my super-talented predecessor). Check out the short video below to see what it's all about!
