Please remember that we have an early release day this Friday, September 27, where students will be dismissed at 12:55 p.m. Please read through our message below with details about a fifth grade parent/caregiver meeting about the middle school magnet choice process, clarification about our Garden Festival, annual MCPS Annual Environmental Compliance Information, and more!

Parents and caregivers of our 5th grade students are invited to attend our Middle School Magnet Meeting on Tuesday, September 24 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Learn about the different middle school choices and the processes for indicating your choices. Click HERE to view the flyer in English and Spanish.

Please be aware that the Garden Festival that will be taking place this Friday, September 27 is only open to the families who have already submitted an RSVP. This event can no longer accommodate additional families due to space and food provisioning. Did you know that MCPS will once again provide FREE Chromebooks and/or MiFi (wireless internet) devices for students to use at home? In addition to utilizing these devices for homework purposes, there is a possibility that MCPS will need to transition to virtual instruction for any predictable, multi-day scenarios. If you would like to request a FREE Chromebook for your child, please click HERE or e-mail your child's teacher.
