How do you prepare for school before it starts?
Start adjusting bedtime before school starts.
Set your morning routine by waking up at a scheduled time to help with that school start time.
Get familiar with Collins by coming to Meet the Teacher night.
Create an area in the house for backpacks and lunchboxes where everything is placed coming in the home and before leaving the home. This “launch pad” makes the mornings run smoothly so that your child isn’t running around the home looking for items.
Information Regarding Teacher Meet and Greet
- The day of the Meet and Greet you will receive a welcome email from your child's homeroom teacher.
- When you and your child arrive to the event you will visit your child’s Learning Community and meet their homeroom teacher.
- School supplies (if ordered on-line) will be in the homeroom class along with a daily schedule. PTO will be available to answer questions about PTO membership, Friends of Collins, and on-line Spirit Wear sales for the upcoming school year.
- Fine Arts and PE teachers will be present to answer questions you may have about those programs.
- If you are unable to attend, your child will receive everything he or she needs on the first day of school. We are very excited about the new school year and looking forward to meeting you and your child.
You are still able to order EPI Supplies
Price increase - Mailed to home - 3+ days for delivery

Conroe Independent School District - Verification of Student Registration Directions
To the parent(s) of: Child's Name,
Your verification of student registration for Child's Name at Conroe Independent School District is available online.
Our records show that you have not completed Registration yet. This is a reminder that Registration must be completed as soon as possible so we have current emergency information for your child.
How do I get started?
Click this snapcode link: Your email will have a link that is specific to your child!
What’s a snapcode?
By clicking on the link above, you are automatically entering your child's snapcode. The snapcode is like a key to your child’s verification of student registration for the upcoming school year. You should receive a unique snapcode or snapcode link for each child.
Should I create an account?
- If you’ve never completed an online verification of student registration, you should create an account. This allows you to securely save your work and come back at a later time if necessary. You can use your email address or cell phone number.
- If you already have an account, you can sign in and complete the form. (You should use the same account to complete forms for multiple children.)
Do I have to answer all the questions?
Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.
What if I make a mistake?
If you would like to make a change, click on the underlined field or click “< Prev” to return to a previous page.
I’ve completed the form, now what?
When you have finished entering your information, click “Submit.” This will send all of the information you’ve entered to the school. If you cannot click on this button, you will need to make sure that you have answered all required questions.
What if I have more than one student in the district?
Do I need to do this for each child? Yes, because you’ll need to provide information that is specific for each child. We recommend that you submit one verification of student registration and then start another – this will allow you to “snap over” shared family information, which will save you time.
I don’t know what a question is asking.
You can contact your child's school or email at registration@conroeisd.net to ask any general questions about the form or the online returning student registration process.
