Family Update
Dublin Jerome High School
From the Principal | February 23, 2024
Good Afternoon!
I was out of the office today for a college visit with my son at the University of Pittsburgh. Some great experiences and I am starting to feel melancholy that he is growing up. But I am also so excited to see where his future takes him. I feel the same about all of you! Keep going---you can do it!
Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
Better Together,
Mike
ATTN JUNIORS: School Day SAT on Tuesday, March 5
The SAT test for all juniors will be held on Tuesday, March 5th. Students should check their email prior to the test date for their reporting time and location. Please note that some students who receive accommodations may test on a different date and/or time so it's important for every student to check their email.
Students should make sure they have a charged and working Chromebook. Any students who do not have a school issued Chromebook must arrive early to check out a Chromebook. Any late arrivals will not be admitted into the testing room.
If you have any questions please email Mrs. Hampton at hampton_donita@dublinschools.net

The detour around the closure is Hyland-Croy Road to Brand Road, then Muirfield Drive to Perimeter Drive and then Post Road or Hyland-Croy Road to Mitchell Dewitt Road, then Industrial Parkway to Post Road.
We appreciate your patience through this project. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

THIS WEEK
Sound of Music Is Here!
Tickets are now on sale for the Jerome Theatre Department presentation of The Sound of Music!
The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world’s most beloved musical. The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as outside forces take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
Shows are Thursday February 22, Friday February 23, Saturday February 24 @ 7pm with a sensory friendly performance on Saturday February 24 @ 1:00pm.
Reminder: Check Student Grades in Infinite Campus
Student overall grades are synced weekly from Schoology to Infinite Campus. I would encourage all families to login to the Parent Portal to review your child's progress thus far in the third quarter. Click the link below if you need assistance with Infinite Campus.
Schedule Verification Emails have arrived!
Families will receive course verification emails to students and their primary guardian on next week. This is an opportunity to review student course selections shared with the the school counselor. This email will include a Schedule Change Request Form if there are changes that need to be updated from the requests.
Please be on the lookout for this email within the next week. Thank you for your patience and support with our scheduling process.

CELEBRATIONS
Congrats to the VARSITY BOYS BOWLING team for finishing 21st out of 56 Central Ohio teams at the Sectional Bowling Tourney. Although only the top 16 teams advanced to next week's district tourney, we were only 109 pins off the cut line. Very impressive for a second year program!
Seniors Isaac Shek and Austin Gade both qualified for the District Tourney next week by finishing in the top 16 individual scores for individuals that were not on teams that advanced. Isaac averaged 209 pins per game and Austin averaged 202.
Isaac & Austin will both bowl on Tuesday in the District Tourney as they try to qualify for the state tourney as individuals. Let's wish them luck!
