Principal's Message

LES Parents,

What a fun day!!! We got to celebrate our Limo Lunch winners as they rode around town in the big limo and enjoyed A LOT of pizza at LaRosa's! Thanks so much to everyone that was able to support our magazine fundraiser!

Next week begins our Ohio State Testing season. We start off with fourth grade ELA on the 8th and 9th. The following week will be third grade ELA on the 15th and 16th. We know our students are very prepared to be successful on these tests!

The LEPTA is still looking for several positions to be filled for next year. Please consider supporting this amazing group of people!

Maybe we will get a break from the rain some time soon - have a great weekend!

Limo Lunch Fun!

Current 2nd and 3rd Grade Parent/Guardian Input for Scheduling for 2025-2026

Loveland Elementary School is now accepting parent input in regards to your incoming 3rd and 4th grader’s education placement for next year through April 17, 2025. Please understand that we will do our best to match your child with teachers that will best meet your child’s needs. Due to the complexity of the placement process, please share any specifics that will help us with your child’s placement for the upcoming school year. The third-grade field day is scheduled for Thursday, May 8, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please register here if you would want to volunteer.

The fourth-grade field day is scheduled for Friday, May 9, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please register here if you would want to volunteer.

LEPTA NEWS

Are you interested in being more involved with LEPTA next year? We could really use your help! We have several open positions next year on the board including:

Communications / Membership
LECC Yearbook Co-chair
Building representatives for LECC and LPS.
Walk-A-Thon Coordinator (or co-chairs if two people would like to do it together)
Vice President

We'd love to tell you more information about these positions to see if you think it would be a good fit!

Hello 4th grade families. As you prepare to move up to 5th grade at LIS, we want to welcome you to the MINT PTSA. MINT stands for Middle & Intermediate schools. We are a small group of parents serving the students and staff at LIS & LMS and we need your help. Please consider volunteering with the MINT PTSA for the 25-26 school year. We have many committee positions if you want to join a team and help out with a single day event or we are in need of a secretary or co-secretary to shadow for a year and take over the following year, a fundraiser VP or Co-VPs to manage our annual fundraiser (we had great fun setting up teacher pie in the face lunches). Kindness Council Updates

Our Compassion Project for April will be to take care of our planet in honor of Earth Day on Tuesday, April 22nd. Digitally, the Kindness Council has created a presentation with Earth Day challenges and activities to complete. You can access this presentation/activities here. Also, our daily announcements will have challenges for ways that we can take care of our planet; we’d love for families to work together to participate in these challenges. We are looking forward to helping make our planet a better place throughout April!

School Fees

Loveland City School District will begin sending automated reminders about outstanding school fees, including unpaid preschool or kindergarten tuition. Families with unpaid fees will receive a call and email with the total amount due for this year and any previous years. These messages will occur monthly when there is a balance to be paid. To see details of outstanding fees or make a payment, please follow this link to log in to PaySchools Central. If you have questions about unpaid fees, please contact your building secretary.

Get Transportation Updates on Your Smartphone

You can get information about bus routes and bus delays online or on your smartphone. Follow this link to our Transportation page, or download the “My Ride K-12” app from your phone’s app store. Once you’ve registered and logged in, you can connect with your student’s information with their 5-digit student ID and last name.

The app now allows real-time tracking of your student’s bus. If you activate push notifications, our transportation team can send you notifications about transportation delays.

School Fees for 2024-2025

School Fees for the 2024-2025 school year have now been posted to tigerparent.me. Please note that the total due may include fees from previous years that remain unpaid. Please call (513) 683-4333 if you have any questions or need help setting up a payment plan.

2024-25, 2025-26 and 2026-2027 District Calendars

The school calendars are now available for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years. You can view and print an easy-to-read version of the calendar and important dates by following the link to the district website.
