Our silent auction will be opening early this week before Fall Festival so that you have plenty of time to check out all the amazing items we have for you to bid on this year. We will once again be hosting the auction online with QTego and the bidding will end at 8:00pm on Friday night. Items will need to be collected in the gym at the entrance to the silent auction area beginning at 8:15pm.

Wednesday, November 1, is Picture Retake Day!

Please read through this retake information if your child needs a retake or a makeup photo.

RETAKES: If you need a retake of your original image, you MUST turn in your packet with all contents to the photographer even if you did not place an order. MAKEUP PICTURES: If you missed the original photo day, ordering for Geist Elementary makeup/retake day is now open! To order with a debit or credit card, please follow the link below. Make sure you are ordering under the RETAKE button. You do not need to turn in any receipt or form for an online order. If you need to pay by cash or check, the office will have an order form available.

This past week we celebrated DisAbility Awareness! Our Incredible DisAbility Week Chair, Angie Commorado put together this amazing video to share with students to help them learn more about our exceptional learners here at Geist. We also had presentations from Gigi's Playhouse, Jeff Harrison (Director of Educational Technologies at Hamilton Southeastern Schools) who did a demonstration about his service dogs, and Mr. Kowal who did an ASL activity with all students during his (STEM/Focus/Flex) class time this week. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a special week to celebrate DisAbility Awareness!

We would like to extend a special THANK YOU to our amazing basket chairs, Alyssa Whitaker and Erin Sellers for organizing our classroom basket donations for Fall Festival! We would also like to thank everyone who donated and to all of our room parents for getting the baskets wrapped and ready to go for the silent auction next week!

This past week our staff appreciation team welcomed the staff back from Fall Break with a delicious lunch! We would also like to thank Mrs. White's class for stocking the lounge- we appreciate you!
